Hello from dry, dusty AZ!

Well, we are most of the way thru our monsoon season and have had a bit of rain-Yay!!  I have been working on a few things--notably finishing the Americana banner that Sandi Steele taught in our Busy Bees  chapter a couple months ago.  I soaked in and dried it on my ironing board to get that nice puckery look!  I also made a Taliswomyn doll pin from a pattern by Ellise Peeples-love it!  Used it as my project for the end of the Treatment and Meditation class taught by Reverend Karen Rice!!

Today I will be quilting for another quilter--Joanie from Busy Bees made this cute log cabin/watermelon quilt-hope to get it completely finished today so I can give it to her at quilt group tomorrow.  Hope she likes it!

Praying for all in the wake of Isaac and for that ever-elusive Peace on Earth.

Hugs.

  1. Hi, Pat! You and your groups do such beautiful work! When you visit Northern Kentucky have you been to the Log Cabin in Burlington. They are a small place and have lots of gorgious fabric for sale.
Love you blog! I will put it on favorites!
